This class is an introduction to Human-Centered Computing and the User-Centered Design process. You will be introduced to a number of different techniques and tools for understanding particular interaction design challenges, you will develop scenarios and storyboards, create low-fidelity prototypes, and iterate on those prototypes to create a final design project.
This course is an introduction to qualitative and quantitative research. You will learn about different research methods and domains to better understand how to select the right approach as well as scope research questions. To put these skills into practice you will apply methods including interviewing and surveys to generate a reserach agenda given your area of interest. The course will feature guest lecturers to gain a better understand of the research and resources at Georgia Tech.
